Combining X-ray imaging and diffraction for materials and biomedical characterisations

Time: Thu 2023-02-02 | 10.00-15.00

Location: KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Register before 25 January 2023

After an introduction to X-ray imaging and diffraction, researchers from the UK, Germany and Sweden will present examples of novel research that has combined both imaging and diffraction measurement techniques at synchrotron facilities.

For your research, you will also have the opportunity to discuss how to write successful beam time proposals with beamline scientists such as Dr Sharif Ahmed, Dual Imaging And Diffraction, Diamond Light Source Ltd.

The full programme will be published shortly.

This international workshop is jointly organised by the Center for X-rays in Swedish Material Science (CeXS) and the MetaLSF project. The MetaLSF Project provides continuing professional education on the use of neutrons and x-rays in metallic metals research. We are also grateful to the Swedish iron and steel producers' association for supporting this event.
